In this video you are going to see how to crop in kdenlive

Drag the image on timeline. Right click on the clip on timeline click on add effect. Click on crop and transform click on crop, scale and tilt. Change the settings as per you want. Next effect – edge crop Drag the top,left,bottom,right sliders to crop image/video. Delete effect- To delete applied effect click on delete button in effect properties window. Next effect – letterboard. Drag the border width slider to create this effect. Next effect – rotate & shear Next effect – transform For this effect change the size & position of image. To make this effect more interesting add keyframes and change the opacity, size of image for every keyframe.

So this way we can use crop and transform tool in kdenlive.
