In this video you will see how to split video in openshot video editor.

First import clip and drag and drop it on timeline
Click on the play button under preview window to check it.

Now on timeline drag the playhead where you want to
cut or split the clip.

First Method- Using razor tool
Above video track on timeline you will find a razor tool
click on it to cut the clip.
To deselect the razor tool click on razor tool button again.

Second method- slice option
Right click on the clip and click on slice

So this way we can split the video in openshot.
