In this video you are going to see how to make picture in picture video in kdenlive.

First import the clips in Kdenlive, play them to check it. Drag the main video on video track on timeline. Now drag the overlay video on other video track (above the previous track). Play it in project monitor. You can see second video (overlay) overlaps entire main video. Select the second video (overlay video) click on effects. Search transform effect and drag & drop it on this clip. In project monitor window drag the corners of the video to change it’s size. And drag and drop it where you want it to appear. split it and drag it at different location. Change the on screen position of this video clip. Now see our overlay video is not overlapping entire main video If you want you can add title for your overlay videos and add transitions to your overlay videos.

So this way we can do picture in picture in kdenlive.
