In this tutorial you are going to see how to adjust volume of the video using cinelerra that is how to increase or decrease volume and also how to mute the volume.

First drag the video & audio files on timeline.
Click normal forward button on compositor to check it.

Increase or decrease volume –
On timeline drag volume slider to left or right to change the volume of track.

Play the video in compositor to check the volume.

Change volume of one track only –
If all tracks volume is set and you just want to change the volume of one track then

Click on arm track(lock button) and then drag the volume slider.

Lock track slider will remain where it is, when we drag other slider.

Mute track-
click on don’t send to output option to mute the audio

So this way we can adjust volume in cinelerra.
