In this post we are going to see how to fade out video in openshot video editor.

First import the video in openshot. Drag & drop it on timeline & play it to check it.
Drag the playhead at the beginning of the video.
Right click on video on timeline click on fade
start of clip and click on fade in fast

Rightc click on video on timeline click on fade
start of clip click on fade in slow

Fade out –
right click on video on timeline click on fade ,end of clip, fade out fast
or
right click on video on timeline click on fade, end of clip, fade out slow

for entire clip
right click on video on timeline click on fade, entire clip, fade in & out fast
or
right click on video on timeline click on fade, entire clip, fade in & out slow.

so this way we can add fade in and fade out effect to video using openshot
