Drag the playhead where you want to add subtitle.
Click on titles tab & click on basic. Click & drag simple text on title track. On preview window drag & drop subtitle where you want it . On clip editing click on text tab.
From here you can change color, font and size of the text.
Double click inside textbox and type the text.
