In this tutorial Tutordidi will teach you how to cut video in kdenlive. 

To cut the video first import/ add in Kdenlive. Once you got it drag and drop it from project bin on timeline. To check the video click on the play button on project monitor. 

  Click on the pause button before that scene which you want to delete then click on razor tool above on time line and with that tool selected click on the clip it will cut the clip. 

 Or to activate the razor tool hit the x key on keyboard and click on the clip to cut it. To deselect the razor tool click on selection tool above timeline or just hit the s key on keyboard.
