All About Audio – Videopad Tutorial #27
In this post we will see how to using audio in videopad everything about using audios in our video using videopad video editor.
fade in / out
drag & drop the audio & video file. Play it to check. Right click on audio track & click on fade in.
Click on first option. From the start of the clip to the cursor position & click ok button.
Click on from the start of the clip & enter duration how long you want fade in effect & click on ok button.
To add fade in effect from the cursor position click on from the cursor position and enter duration click on ok button.
To add fade out effect drag the cursor little near end of the clip. Right click on audio track click on fade out.
Click on from the end of the clip to the cursor position and click on ok button.
Click on from the end of the clip option & enter duration. Click on ok button.
crossfade
drag & drop video (which should have a background audio) on timeline. Play to check it.
Drag & drop new audio clip on new track.
Right click on audio track & click on cross fade.
Enter duration & click on ok button.
You can repeat same process till the end of the video.
- when we cross fade one audio volume get’s lower so we can hear other audio
remove audio
drag & drop video on timeline & play it to check it. To remove sound from video on audio track click on mute track icon.
Second method-
Right click on video on timeline. click on unlink from audio. This will separate audio & video.
Now click on audio track to select it and hit delete key on keyboard.
extract audio
First drag & drop video on timeline. Play it to check.
Right click on video clip on timeline. Click on save audio clip as a new file. New audio clip will get added in audio files bin. Drag audio file on timeline and play it to check.
To see where this audio track is saved. Right click on it and click on open file location.
So this way we can work with audio using videopad
